Hi, I'm Jean and I LOVE my job!

I specialize in fun and vibrant wedding and portrait photography in the Treasure Valley, including Boise and Eastern Oregon.

I live in beautiful Eastern Oregon, (near the Idaho border) with my husband, Tim and our four great kids in the small farming community of Adrian, OR. We love to spend time together in the outdoors, and I occasionally post images from some of our adventures.

Check out the blog often to see what's new. Comments are always welcome, so please feel free to leave one for me. Thanks for stopping by!

Blue Mountain Wildlife – Pendleton, OR (Boise Photography)

I have many new weddings and seniors to post soon, but I just had to take a moment to share a cool adventure I had last weekend. My friend, Nika rescues injured raptors.  She invited me to drive up to Pendleton with her on Saturday to deliver an injured kestrel to Blue Mountain Wildlife, a...

Camping! – Eastern OR (Boise Photography)

With all this cold, windy weather, I thought a blast from the past might be fun.  I am posting some fun pictures from our camping trip last summer.  We camped at our favorite spot (not far from Jordan Valley, OR) on the Owyhee River in July.  This place has it all…great fishing, swimming, and an...

Steens Mountains Road Trip – (Boise, ID Photographer, E. OR Photographer)

Tim and I celebrated our 18th anniversary on June 22nd.  We decided it would be fun to take a little break from everyday life, and see the Steens Mountains in Oregon, near the Nevada Border.  On the drive up, the breath-taking scenery blew me away.  Of course, many stops were required so I could take...

Kari Webb - You know, growing up in Adrian, my family trekked along highway 95 headed to Reno to visit family. It was a once or twice yearly event and I hated the drive sooo much! When I lived in Winnemucca in the 90′s, I made the drive up 95 to visit Adrian as often as I could. After seeing your pictures, I realize there is sooo much beauty in the desert and you captured it perfectly! It makes me miss my hometown very much! Thank you for sharing these!

Alex - Very impressed, the Steens and the desert look beautiful. I am in need for a photographer, senior pictures are coming up, and i would LOVE for you to do it, your work looks “Picture Perfect”.
I will contact you.

Otto Kulm - Wow Jean, really nice work! I would like to chat with you about using some of your stuff for our website/brochures. I’ve heard a lot about you guys from Dusty, but would like to meet you too. I think we are headed back to Vale this fall, so maybe we can BBQ or something then? Keep up the good work!

Otto

Jim Hiatt - I love your photos. I saw Tim’s post on Monstermuleys.com and came over to check out your blog. I come to Eastern Oregon on business every month but I have never seen the Steens up close. Thanks for taking the time to share your talent.

ToadyJoe - Beautiful. I wanna go on the next trip. Must check my schedule!

Redneck Treasure Hunt – (Boise, ID Photographer, E. OR Photographer)

Well, just had to share a few photos from my weekend adventure.  In celebration of my 36th birthday, Tim took me on a trip to the Idaho mountains to look for deer and elk antler sheds.  We drove to a remote and beautiful place where Tim has found many sheds in years past.  We brought...
